    In the recent confrontation clause case of Michigan v. Bryant, Justice Antonin Scalia cited University of Michigan Professor Richard Friedman's article "Grappling with the Meaning of 'Testimonial.'" The article was originally presented at the BLS symposium "Crawford and Beyond: Exploring the Future of the Confrontation Clause in Light of its Past," and was published in volume 71 of the Brooklyn Law Review.
