Access library resources while off-campus
We subscribe to a large number of subscription databases and journals to support research and scholarship at Brooklyn Law School. You can browse our A to Z Guide to Databases, which lists our major databases organized by subject area or alphabetically. You may also use OneSearch for articles and books, or our SARA Catalog for books, journals, and databases. To find out whether we have a specific e-journal or database, use our Find a Source page.

Proxy Server Instructions
Implementing the proxy server instructions below will give you access to many of the library’s databases (but not Lexis, Westlaw, or Bloomberg Law) without the need for a password. Select the instructions based on the web browser you prefer to use for online research. For the databases that require a password, please obtain a username and password from a librarian at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that once you set up the Proxy Server, you will be required to enter your Brooklyn Law School Username and Password each time you attempt to access the web on the selected browser. Therefore, you may want to use a different browser than the one you normally use for web browsing.
Note: Google Chrome is not recommended for accessing e-resources because many of these databases do not function optimally with this browser.
