For those of you who don’t spend your weekends glued to the games, Florida State University is among the Goliaths of college sports. Its football team won the BCS National Championship this year and it has finished among the Top 15 in each of the last seven years in the Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup, which measures overall program excellence. The man hired this past fall to propel the FSU Seminoles to the next chapter of greatness? Brooklyn Law School’s Stan Wilcox ’88.
Join Stan Wilcox for a talk about his role at the helm of the Seminoles, his early life as a basketball player at Notre Dame, and his days with the NCAA (as a legislative assistant) and then with the Big East (as their representative to the NCAA Management Council). There will also be a Q & A on hot topics surrounding college sports.
