In light of controversy regarding enormous campaign contributions by corporations during the 2012 presidential election, Professor Gora suggests the need for candidate contribution limits, a restructured public financing program, and focused disclosure requirements. “This should be guided by the realization that the best election reform provision ever enacted is the First Amendment,” he said. “The more we follow its letter and spirit, the better off we will be.”
