Prior to joining the faculty, he was an Assistant Attorney General in the Investment Protection Bureau of the New York State Attorney General's Office and a litigation associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York. After law school, he clerked for Judge Robert A. Katzmann of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and for Judge John G. Koeltl of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
