Brooklyn Law School officially welcomed 441 new students during its 125th Convocation ceremony at the U.S. District Courthouse for the Eastern District of New York, marking the start of their legal education journey. The incoming class is one of the strongest and most diverse in the School’s history, representing 36 states, 22 countries, and a wide range of professional and personal backgrounds. Speakers including Dean David D. Meyer, Professor Joy Kanwar, Judge Claire Kelly ’93, and alumna Nutan Vani Sewdath Dossa ’14 emphasized community, belonging, professionalism, and the lifelong support of the Brooklyn Law network.
