Coronavirus Response Update
School facilities at 250 Joralemon St. and 111 Livingston St. are closed until further notice. Read more.

Here at Brooklyn Law School, we continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, particularly in New York State. Our classes are being held online, and we are suspending the admission of visitors to our campus due to public safety concerns. Our staff will be available and working remotely to answer any questions you might have, and to continue the processes of our office to the extent possible. If you have questions or would like to speak with someone, please email admitq@brooklaw.edu, or if you are an admitted student, please email your counselor.

Visit Brooklyn Law School

We invite you to visit us and experience our campus and neighborhood first-hand. To pick up materials for admission and financial aid or to register for one of the many programs we offer prospective students, please visit the Admissions Office during office hours (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at 250 Joralemon Street in Brooklyn. If you would like to speak with a counselor, please make an appointment: admitq@brooklaw.edu or call (718) 780-7906.

Our on-site programs range from casual walking tours of the campus to our half-day open house -- Experience Brooklyn Law -- designed to give prospective students an insight into our academic programs and student life. The open house also provides opportunities to meet our faculty and current students, and is especially helpful for candidates who have an application pending. We also offer class observations, as well as workshops, such as our Admission Strategies Workshop and BLS Infovisits, which address the essentials of admissions, financial aid options, and career opportunities.

Infovisit Tour

Each week (except holidays), the Admissions Office hosts a 90-minute tour and information session for prospective students. The Infovisit offers a walking tour of the Law School's main academic building, including several classrooms, the Moot Court Room, library, cafeteria, and student lounge. Infovisits are typically led by an admissions officer along with a current Brooklyn Law student who can answer questions during the tour and information session.

Note: We continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, particularly in New York State. At this time, our leadership has made the difficult decision to cancel or postpone all large events, including our upcoming infovisits. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this presents and are deeply disappointed that we will be unable to share our program and community with you then; however, we feel we must place your safety and the safety of our students, faculty, and administration above all else. In lieu of these on-campus information sessions, we will be offering two webinars, so that you can experience Brooklyn Law School virtually. The webinars will be held on the same dates and at the same times as the previously scheduled infovisits. If you would like to join us virtually, please sign up here so we can be sure to send you the log-in information prior to the webinar. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the Office of Admissions if we can assist in planning a future visit to Brooklyn Law or connect you with additional resources so that you can get to know our community better. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact our office by email at admitq@brooklaw.edu or by telephone at (718) 780-7906. We greatly appreciate your understanding, and hope to meet you soon.

Observe a Class

NOTE: Class observations are suspended pending further notice. Please read more here.

To experience the look and feel of an actual law school class in progress, you are welcome to observe up to three first-year classes at Brooklyn Law School. All classes are held in the main building at 250 Joralemon Street. View our Class Observation Schedule for courses that are open to visitors. The semester begins on Monday, January 13th and continues through Friday, April 24th.

Please reach out in advance to the Admissions Office at admitq@brooklaw.edu to arrange your class visitation. This will ensure we have a visitor's pass available for you when you arrive, and also that the class will be meeting that day. Include in your email the date, time, and class you would like to observe.

On the day of your visit, arrive at the classroom a few minutes prior to the scheduled start time to introduce yourself to the professor. We kindly ask that you do not enter a classroom after class has begun or exit a classroom while the class is still in session out of respect for the students and professor.

NOTE: Self-guided tours are suspended pending further notice.

Self-Guided Tour

If you are unable to participate in our scheduled programs, we encourage you to pay a casual, "walk-in" visit to Brooklyn Law School at a time that is convenient for you. When you arrive on campus, you will first need to go to the Admissions Office to pick up a visitor's pass and materials for a self-guided tour of our facilities,. If you would like to schedule a "walk-in" visit, please call the Admissions Office at (718) 780-7906 or e-mail admitq@brooklaw.edu.
