Discovery Workshop

Students work on all aspects of discovery in the context of a simulated federal civil trial, including drawing up a discovery plan, interviewing and preparing witnesses, drafting interrogatories and document requests, conducting depositions of lay and expert witnesses, making motions to compel and participating in court conferences. Students attend demonstrations, panel discussions and guest lectures and participate in intensive workshop sessions.

Grading and Method of Evaluation:
Letter grade with pass/fail option. Written work is assigned on a regular basis so that this course will satisfy the Upperclass Writing Requirement.
