Biography

Professor Jeremy Miguel Weintraub previously taught legal writing and lawyering skills at Fordham, Denver, St. John’s, and New York Law School. He was most recently a partner with Schoeman Updike Kaufman & Gerber focusing on commercial and employment litigation. He began his career at Kelley Drye & Warren. Professor Weintraub’s trial experience includes trials in the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, and the Commercial Division of New York’s Supreme Court. He has drafted a myriad of litigation documents, including appeal briefs, pre- and post-trial briefs, and motions for summary judgment. Professor Weintraub’s interests include legal ethics, negotiation, and mediation. He has served as a mediator for the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, and the Commercial Division of New York’s Supreme Court.
