Biography
John Reilly is the Assistant Director of Academic Success and Bar Preparation at Brooklyn Law School effective Fall 2025. He is an alumnus of Brooklyn Law School and has taught academic success classes there since 2020.
Professor Reilly’s scholarship focuses on the wellbeing of law students and new lawyers, bar exam success, early career satisfaction, and training for new lawyers. His book, The Brand-New Lawyer’s Guide to Passing the Bar, Learning the Trade, and Building a Sustainable Career, published by Carolina Academic Press, explores these topics. Professor Reilly has also been published in The Indonesian Journal of International Law and on Lawyer Stories.
After law school, Professor Reilly practiced economic sanctions law and compliance at Société Générale and Mastercard.
