Justin Murray

Biography

Professor Murray focuses his scholarship on prosecutorial discretion and on strategies for preventing and penalizing illegal conduct on the part of prosecutors and other criminal justice actors. He joined New York Law School as an associate professor of law in 2019, teaching criminal law, criminal procedure, constitutional law, and race bias and advocacy, and serving as co-director of the school’s Criminal Justice Institute. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University and B.A. from Harvard University.
