Biography
Judge Zohar Dolev Lehmann will be a visiting scholar from Sept. 30 through October 2, 2024, and her scholarship will be focused on exploring the areas of evidence and contract drafting.
Judge Lehmann presides over the Southern District Courts of Peace in Israel, a first-instance trial court. In addition to her legal studies, she completed significant training in representing victims of sexual assault as well as in small claims mediation. Prior to becoming a judge, Judge Lehmann practiced commercial litigation and prosecuted criminal cases with the Southern District Attorney’s Office in Israel, and served for 15 years as a prosecutor with the Tel Aviv District Attorney’s Office. In addition to presiding over the Southern District Courts of Peace, Judge Lehmann serves as Judge and Chairperson of Parole Boards.
