Biography
Tomer Kenneth is an Assistant Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School, where he teaches and writes in the areas of evidence, law & technology, and legal and political theory. He also serves as an Affiliated Fellow at the Information Law Institute at NYU School of Law, and as a Deputy Editor of the International Journal of Evidence & Proof.
Professor Kenneth’s research focuses on judicial decision-making about facts. He explores evidence doctrines, their theoretical foundations, and the challenges posed by emerging technologies. He has recently written on general facts, precedents, authority, epistemology, and legitimacy. Professor Kenneth’s scholarship has been published or is forthcoming in The University of Chicago Law Review, Law & Philosophy, Yale Journal of Law & the Humanities, Harvard Journal on Legislation, and Duke Law Journal Online, among others, and has been cited by courts and legislatures around the world.
Before joining Brooklyn Law School, Professor Kenneth was a Visiting Assistant Professor at USC Gould School of Law. He earned his J.S.D and LL.M in legal theory from NYU School of Law.
