Sports Law Symposium: Sports Tech: A Sports Lawyer’s Playbook
Please join the Brooklyn Entertainment & Sports Law Society (BESLS) and the Intellectual Property Law Association (IPLA) on Friday, October 27 for our third annual Sports Law Symposium. The symposium theme is “Sports Tech: A Sports Lawyer’s Playbook,” and will feature three panels and a keynote conversation.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. with introductory remarks from BESLS and IPLA leadership, Dean David D. Meyer, and Professor of Clinical Law and Director of Externship Programs, Jodi Balsam.
The subsequent three panels will focus on:

The program provides 4.5 CLE credits in the State of New York. Partial credit is not available. The credits are transitional and non-transitional and the categories are Professional Practice (2.0 credits), Ethics and Professionalism (1.0 credits), Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Data Protection (1.0 credits) and Skills (0.5 credits). Materials will be distributed digitally prior to the event. Please print out a hard copy if you would like to have one as a reference.
