Biography

Professor Steele teaches law at Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota, Colombia. In addition to legal writing and corporate drafting, her areas of expertise include project and infrastructure finance, energy–natural resources and power, M&A, impact investing, and cross-border real estate transactions. She has AML/FT certification from ACAMS. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in applied linguistics at Columbia University, and her research focuses on legal writing for law students for whom English is an Additional Language and Generation 1.5 law students.
