Professor Cornish’s work has focused on access to justice and justice policy. She served as Legal Fellow at the District of Columbia Corrections Information Council, where she conducted inspections of correctional facilities to gather information on confinement conditions. She co-founded the DC Reduced Fee Lawyers Group, a web-based legal services directory for D.C. residents of modest means. As an Access to Justice Fellow, she performed a state-by-state analysis that resulted in a published report on the legal access in the 50 states. Read more.
