Screening of American Nightmare / American Dream and Panel Discussion
About the Program
We present a screening of American Nightmare / American Dream, which follows the raw, emotional struggles and triumphs of four women (including current Brooklyn Law student Rebecca Lelchuk ’26) who overcome an array of barriers to escape poverty and change their lives forever – through education – and how they paved the way for others to follow.
The event will include a screening of the 57-minute documentary, followed by a panel discussion featuring practicing attorneys who will focus on how lawyers can create systemic change. The event is presented as part of Race & the Law Week.
Members of the Brooklyn Law School community and outside guests are more than welcome to attend, but all must RSVP.
