Brackeen and Beyond: A Fireside Chat

November is Indigenous People’s month. Heather Bruegl will unpack the Supreme Court’s recent Brackeen v. Haaland decision, which upheld the Indian Child Welfare Act, and student members of our Lenapehoking Working Group will discuss Brooklyn Law School’s ongoing efforts to acknowledge the history of the original inhabitants of the land we’re on.

CLE Credit Offered

The program provides 2.0 CLE credits in the State of New York. Partial credit is not available. The credits are non-transitional, and the category is Diversity, Inclusion, and Elimination of Bias. CLE credit is not available for newly admitted attorneys (those admitted to the New York Bar for less than two years). Materials will be distributed digitally prior to the event. Please print out a hard copy if you would like to have one as a reference. A limited number of printouts will be available upon email request to cle@brooklaw.edu by the deadline of November 6.

The cost of the program is free of charge, regardless of whether you attend for CLE credit.
