Transportation and Maritime Law
This course offers a survey of relevant principles of transportation and maritime law, including admiralty jurisdiction and procedure, charter parties, carriage of goods by sea, collision, maritime liens and their enforcement, rights of seamen and maritime workers, marine insurance, marine pollution in the wake of incidents like the Exxon Valdez , air carrier liability under the Warsaw Convention and Montreal Protocols and other related topics in the context of a practice involving maritime and aviation matters.
