Internationational Litigation: Comparing U.S. and E.U. Approaches to Disputes Across National Boundaries
This course will focus on litigation in the international context. It will examine disputes that involve parties in different countries, with different laws concerning jurisdiction, choosing the appropriate judicial forum, suing state-owned entities, staying litigation in other countries, and enforcing judgments from other legal systems. The course will concentrate on laws of the United States and the laws of the European Union.
