Commercial Leasing Intensive
In just four action-action packed sessions, this course will cover the negotiation of commercial leases: office, retail and restaurant, as well as related subjects like brokerage agreements, subleases, lease guarantees, workletters and leasehold insurance. We will look at all the major components of leases and the different ways in which they address business and legal issues. depending on the nature of the transaction. We will emphasize break-out group discussions and guided mock lease negotiations. Grading and Method of Evaluation: Letter grade with pass/fail option. "Classroom" participation will be heavily weighted.
