Clinic - Sports Law Externship Fieldwork

Students in the Sports Law Externship Course work in law firms, agencies, and in-house legal departments that handle matters and clients at any level of sport, or serve the businesses and properties that operate in partnership with the sports industry. The nature of the legal work will differ from site to site, and may be advisory, litigation, transactional, compliance, or policy oriented. Students will be supervised in their fieldwork by a Mentor Attorney at the host office and subject to general Externship Program rules and requirements as set forth in the Externship Student Manual. Priority to students who have taken Sports Law.

Enrollment Notes:
The externship course is offered in the SPRING only. Fieldwork is graded pass/fail.
