Clinic - Housing Justice

The Housing Justice clinic will allow students to interact with tenants and homeowners to preserve housing stability for low-income households. Students will have the opportunity to engage in client-facing work by representing a tenant in a landlord-tenant housing court proceeding or fair housing discrimination proceeding or assisting a homeowner client in drafting a will. Students will also work on a policy and/or know your rights project, working with community members to develop housing justice policy in New York.
