Weather Alert

Dear campus community,

We are closely monitoring the ongoing storm and its impacts on campus and in the surrounding area. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for NYC, effective from 4:00 AM to 6:00 PM on 2/13. Anticipated hazards include 5 to 8 inches of snow and 40 mph winds, potentially causing significant travel difficulties, with dangerous road conditions expected.

Regarding campus operations, our plan is to remain open tomorrow (Tuesday, Feb 13), with classes transitioning to remote delivery to ensure continuity in learning. The library will maintain its regular operating hours with limited services. For information on virtual library services, please refer to our Remote Access Guide.

We advise utilizing mass transit if possible and exercising caution when walking, biking, or driving. Anyone who intends travel tomorrow is strongly urged to monitor transit information and weather advisories before heading out.
