Litigating an IP Case

The course will take students through the evolution of an intellectual property litigation in federal court from inception to the eve of trial. Students will participate in fact development, litigation strategizing, the formulation of pleadings, written discovery, taking and defending depositions, expert survey work, efforts at resolution, oral argument and brief writing.

Grading and Method of Evaluation:
Letter grade with pass/fail option. Students graded on written assignments, oral presentations, and in-class simulation. This course will not satisfy the Upperclass Writing Requirement.
