Biography

Professor Wayner is an attorney specializing in arbitration, mediation, and diplomatic immunity. She began my career at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom in its Litigation and International Arbitration group. She then served Mayor Mike Bloomberg for three administrations as Deputy Counsel, and then General Counsel, of International Affairs for the City of New York. She led the Latinx Institute for Human Rights at NYU School of Law as Executive Director, and has also taught commercial arbitration for more than a decade at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.

Professor Wayner is a graduate of Baylor University and the University of Michigan School of Law. She has also served as a Deputy President of the Hispanic National Bar Association’s New York Region.
