Biography

Professor Tamir focuses his research primarily in public law, both domestic U.S. and comparative. He was a Global Hauser Post-Doctoral Fellow at NYU School of Law and an adjunct professor of law there in the summer of 2023. He is also a co-author of a new forthcoming constitutional law casebook, with Professor Lawrence Lessig of Harvard Law School. Tamir earned an S.J.D. and LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where he is also a post-doctoral research fellow, and an LL.B. from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
