Lauren Roberts

Biography

Professor Roberts is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Legal Writing. Prior to joining Brooklyn Law School, Professor Roberts was a Senior Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society in Bronx County, where she served as a criminal defense attorney for thirty years. She also taught Legal Writing at Fordham Law School as an Adjunct Professor. While at Legal Aid, Professor Roberts represented indigent clients in all stages of their criminal proceedings, including arraignments, grand jury proceedings, plea negotiations, pre-trial hearings, and trials.
