Come celebrate Matryoshka (матрёшка) dolls—a Slavic tradition since 1890!
A matryoshka doll, also known as a Russian nested doll or a babushka doll, is a set of dolls of decreasing sizes placed one inside the other. First carved by Vasily Zvyozdochkin in 1890 and later presented at the 1900 World Exhibition in Paris, the matryoshki dolls are now well-recognized and loved throughout the world. Come join EELSA in this Holiday of the Dolls to celebrate this beloved icon! Slavic-themed food & beverages will be served!
