The Brooklyn Law School community mourns the loss of two former Board of Trustee members, George G. Gallantz ’35 and Frank A. Dellomo.
A member of the class of 1935, Gallantz served as a Trustee from 1983 to 1997, when he became a Trustee Emeritus. He practiced sports law as a partner at Proskauer Rose for nearly 50 years and will be remembered for his wisdom, unfailingly good judgment, and unwavering commitment to the Law School.
Dellomo joined the Board of Trustees in 1989 and served as an integral member of the Board’s Finance Committee for over 20 years. He was the President of CrossLand Savings, FSB, which became the first bank in the New York area to introduce a debit card under his leadership. His steadfast dedication as an advisor to the Law School will long be appreciated and remembered.
