    Olga Vlasova '13 was a featured guest columnist in The Jurist, arguing for the prohibition of the death penalty for severely mentally ill convicts. In her article, she cites tenets in the Eighth Amendment and Fourteenth Amendment, as well as several recent Supreme Court decisions, that provide grounds to constitutionally challenge the execution of convicts with severe mental illnesses.
