Brooklyn Law School is among the four best public service law schools in the nation, according to an article in the February 2010 issue of The National Jurist. Using data collected by The Equal Justice Works Guide to Law Schools, The National Jurist selected four schools for the “public service honor roll” – Brooklyn Law School, Boston University School of Law, Cornell Law School and the University of Maryland School of Law. Among other criteria for selection, these schools all offer substantial financial support to students pursuing public service law; an office or administrator solely dedicated to area; access to alumni, working professionals and others in the field; a vast array of hands-on projects; a strong social network for students; and awards for public service.
