    Are you a progressive/a big picture thinker/a radical who is concerned that you're not getting the whole picture on your future as a community-minded lawyer? Attend the City-Wide National Lawyers Guild (NLG) DisOrientation!

    Brought to you by New York City's NLG student chapters and the NLG-NYC Next Generation Committee

    The day will include:

    • an intro to the history and substance of the National Lawyers Guild
    • career panels with awesome NLG attorneys doing advocacy
    • changing policy and challenging that binary - lunch with films and conversation
    • an anti-oppression training
    • break out sessions on loan repayment, critical perspectives on law school doctrine, the nuts-and-bolts of starting and sustaining a private practice
    • a legal observer training
    • a poster session featuring the on-going projects of the NLG law school chapters and the NLG-NYC chapter's committees and how you can get involved
    • an opportunity to connect with rad students across the city
    • a big party at the end (location TBA)
