ABA Required Disclosures
Brooklyn Law School continues its strong record of placing students in meaningful jobs in their chosen fields.
For the Class of 2015, 300 of the 336 graduates – or 89.2 percent – were employed as of the ABA reporting deadline of March 15, 2016, using ABA criteria. However, of those 336 graduates, two are not currently seeking employment, three are pursuing graduate degrees, three are deferring job starts, and another three have begun full-time or part-time employment after the March 15 deadline. This results in a 92.5 percent adjusted employment rate for the Class of 2015.
As per ABA standards, these number include graduates employed in positions for which the bar examination is required, positions for which a J.D. degree is considered advantageous, as well as other professional positions.
For the class of 2014, ten months out, 335 of the 382 graduates – 88% – were employed. However, four of the 382 graduates were not seeking employment, and another four started full-time employment in the days following the cut off for data collection, which means that 90% of the class who were seeking jobs were employed. As per ABA standards, these numbers included graduates employed in positions for which the bar is required, for which a J.D. degree is considered advantageous and other professional positions.
