Dan Slater is the author of Wolf Boys: Two American Teenagers and Mexico’s Most Dangerous Drug Cartel (Simon & Schuster, 2016). Slater is a former legal affairs reporter for The Wall Street Journal and has written for The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, New York magazine, and The Atlantic.
