Reza Ebrahimi, previously an associate, was elevated to partner at Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo in Riverhead, NY. He is a general practitioner with a concentration in commercial transactions, real estate, and business law. (6/16/2017)

Lawrence Elbaum was promoted to partner at Vinson & Elkins. Based in the firm’s New York office, Elbaum is a litigator and business advisor and has defended public and private companies in complex securities, commercial and bankruptcy litigation, and regulatory investigations throughout the United States. Samantha V. Ettari was promoted to special counsel at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on contract and licensing disputes, advertising litigation, securities and regulatory defense, and bankruptcy litigation. Amber Long was named partner at Levy Konigsberg LLP, where she represents victims of asbestos and other toxic torts. She will be overseeing the firm’s New Jersey asbestos litigation department. Long joined the firm in 2006. (9/30/2017).

Timothy Oberweger joined Stewart Title as vice president and senior development officer. He was previously managing director, business development and counsel of TitleVest. (10/16/2017)

David A. Shargel was elected partner in the trial section of Bracewell’s New York office. His litigation practices focuses on general commercial litigation, internal investigations, and white collar criminal defense.
