Raj Barot was appointed co-chair of the Asia Pacific Committee of the ABA Section of International Law. He is the founder, managing director, and general counsel of Agile Counsel, a cross-border consulting practice that provides business advisory, market expansion, and outside general counsel services to early-stage tech companies and venture capital firms in the United States, Southeast Asia, and India. David Harty was the recipient of the Lawyers Alliance for New York’s 2016 Cornerstone Award honoring outstanding pro bono legal services to nonprofits. Harty is an associate at Kaye Scholer LLP, specializing in real estate finance, leasing, acquisitions and sales, and development rights transfers. He has volunteered his time and expertise on behalf of Goddard Riverside Community Center, one of New York City’s modern settlement houses, for the last six years. (11/19/2016)
Heather Miller (Siegel) was appointed vice chair of the board for TrustBridge Heath, a not-for-profit organization in South Florida that offers support for families facing any stage of illness with home health care, hospice, and caregiver support. She is senior counsel and member of the health law practice group in Broad and Cassel’s Miami and Boca Raton offices, where she acts as general and special counsel to both hospitals and large medical groups.
