Raj Barot was appointed co-chair of the Asia Pacific Committee of the ABA Section of International Law. He is the founder, managing director, and general counsel of Agile Counsel, a cross-border consulting practice that provides business advisory, market expansion, and outside general counsel services to early-stage tech companies and venture capital firms in the United States, Southeast Asia, and India. David A. Fraiden, a taxi violation hearing officer in Long Island City, was profiled by the New York Daily News (Sept. 10, 2015) about his side career as a fire-breathing, bowling pin juggler on one wheel who entertains thousands of New York Jets fans at home games in MetLife Stadium. (10/5/2015)

Nicole George-Middleton was promoted to Senior Vice President, Membership, at ASCAP, The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, the world leader in performing rights and advocacy for music creators. She has nurtured and signed some of ASCAP’s top talent, including Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Fetty Wap. She was honored by Billboard as a top Woman in Music in 2011. (2/3/2016)

Elchonon “Eli” Golob is serving as Arizona Assistant Attorney General in the Child and Family Protection Division for the State of Arizona, where he advises and represents state agencies in federal, state, and administrative matters. (3/8/2016)

Heather Miller (Siegel) was appointed vice chair of the board for TrustBridge Heath, a not-for-profit organization in South Florida that offers support for families facing any stage of illness with home health care, hospice, and caregiver support. She is senior counsel and member of the health law practice group in Broad and Cassel’s Miami and Boca Raton offices, where she acts as general and special counsel to both hospitals and large medical groups. Dmitriy A. Tartakovskiy formerly counsel at Debevoise & Plimpton, joined Greenberg Traurig as a shareholder in its global corporate M&A practice. He focuses his practice on corporate and securities law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, representing public and private corporate clients, private equity firms, and investment banks in complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
