Amy E. Altshuler, a partner in the Phoenix, AZ office of Lewis Roca Rothgerber, was named practice group leader of its Business Transactions Group. Altshuler practices in the areas of real estate leasing, land acquisition, and land development. Richard Greenberg co-authored an article for National Law Review (Feb. 29, 2016) on amendments to Philadelphia’s “Ban the Box” legislation. Greenberg is a shareholder in the New York City office of Jackson Lewis, advising both unionized and union-free clients on a full range of labor and employee relations matters. (4/5/2016)

Cynthia Hamada was recently promoted to of counsel to Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP. She concentrates her practice in the area of complex commercial real estate law, representing landlords and tenants, lending institutions, investors, real estate developers and corporations in the selling, leasing, and refinancing of commercial and residential properties. Rebecca Leon has joined Holland & Knight LLP as a partner in the firm’s Miami office. As a member of the financial services team she advises broker-dealers, investment advisers, fund managers, banks and wealth managers on a variety of U.S. and international regulatory and operational matters. Theresa B. Murphy joined the New York City Transit Authority as Executive Assistant General Counsel. Murphy assists the general counsel in overseeing the Torts Division and the General Law Division. She previously served as of Counsel to the Long Island firm of Goldberg & Connolly and as a partner at Cozen O’Connor. (4/11/2015)

Gayle Rosen was promoted to partner at the firm of Rabinowitz, Galina & Rosen (formerly Rabinowitz & Galina) in Mineola, NY. She focuses her practice on commercial construction litigation. (3/4/2016)

Philip Rothman joined Fidelity Investments as head of its capital markets compliance group. He previously served as executive director of Morgan Stanley’s legal and compliance group. (3/4/2016)

Steven G. Sanders was promoted to Deputy Chief of the Appeals Division for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey. Sanders has been with the U.S. Attorney’s Office Appeals Division in Newark, New Jersey since 2007. He previously was in private practice as a partner at the firm of Arseneault, Fasset & Mariano and as an associate with Arkin Schaffer & Kaplan, and at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom. (7/15/2015)
