Frank Carone was elevated to named partner of Abrams Fensterman, which has changed its official name to Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara, Wolf & Carone, LLP. Carone has served as executive partner and head of the firm’s Brooklyn office since 2012. His practice includes complex civil and criminal matters for individuals, corporations, governmental agencies, nonprofit organizations, and professional practices. (8/4/2017)

Jeff Gewirtz, executive vice president of business affairs and chief legal and compliance officer at Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, was named to the board of directors of the Brooklyn Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP). VLP works to provide access to the legal system for special needs and impoverished Brooklyn residents. (10/16/2017)

Deborah Epstein Henry, a recognized expert, consultant, and public speaker on women, careers, and the legal profession, was elected a member of the Board of Directors of the Forum of Executive Women, a membership organization of more than 450 influential women representing diverse businesses of the Greater Philadelphia region. Henry is the founder of Flex-Time Lawyers LLC and Bliss Lawyers. (9/6/2017)

Michael P. Levy, is the new CEO of Crow Holdings, the Dallas-based real estate firm. Michael spent two-decades at Morgan Stanley in their real estate investment strategy as well as traditional asset management. (4/24/2018)

Carolyn Pokorny, was named the Special Counsel for Public Integrity within Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration. Carolyn was previously Chief Special Counsel for Ethics, Risk and Compliance for Governor Cuomo, and also worked as Deputy Chief of Staff to U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch. (4/24/2018)

Michael J. Schwab, has joined Moritt Hock & Hamroff’s office in New York as counsel for its Intellectual Property practice group. Michael is experienced in intellectual property, licensing, trademark and copyright counseling and has focused on clients in the dietary supplement, food, and alcoholic beverage areas. Michael was previously a partner at Abelman Frayne & Schwab. (4/24/2018)
