Scott L. Feuer, previously with Lazer, Aptheker, Rosella & Yedid, P.C., joined the Uniondale, NY office of Rivkin Radler LLP as a partner in the firm’s Real Estate, Zoning, and Land Use Group. Feuer concentrates his practice on commercial real estate transactions including the purchase and sale, financing and leasing of office buildings, shopping centers and multi-family residential properties. Brian T. Frawley, a partner in the Litigation Group at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, was named a 2015 BTI Client Service All-Star. Attorneys on the list are identified solely by corporate counsel and are recognized as “leaders in superior client service.” Frawley’s practice focuses on a broad range of complex securities, derivative and commercial litigation, as well as the defense of significant regulatory matters. David Frey, Deputy Chief of the Investigations Bureau at the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office, was awarded a 2014 Thomas E. Dewey Medal in December. The medal is presented “annually to an outstanding assistant district attorney in each of the City’s District Attorneys' offices and in the Office of the City’s Special Narcotics Prosecutor.” Frey is responsible for computer crimes and long-term investigations, including the supervision of all wiretap investigations. He joined the Richmond County District Attorney's Office as an assistant in the Appeals Bureau in 1997 and has held positions of increasing authority, including Unit Chief of the newly created Computer and Technology Investigations Unit. Steven L. Schultz, a named partner in the Hotchkiss, CO firm of McCarthy & Schultz, was appointed a judge of the Seventh Judicial District Court in Colorado effective January 2015. Felice A. Sontupe was appointed Chief of the Kings County District Attorney's newly created Frauds Bureau. The Bureau has broad responsibility for investigating and prosecuting all forms of fraud, including complex frauds, such as embezzlement, investment fraud and insurance fraud. Sontupe was previously Section Chief in the Labor Bureau and Deputy Chief in the Medicaid Fraud Bureau at the New York State Attorney Generals' Office where she served for 12 years. (5/1/2014)
