Most recently, Dienst served as a director and chief executive officer of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc., until its sale to Sequential Brands, Inc. in 2015. David Frey was appointed as interim civil judge by Mayor De Blasio in December 2016 and has been assigned to Manhattan Criminal Court. Prior to his appointment, he served for 19 years with the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office, most recently as bureau chief of investigations. (3/1/2017)

Robert Laplaca, partner at Verrill Dana, LLP, was the recipient of the firm’s 2017 Roger A. Putnam Community Service Award in recognition of his charitable work, particularly his fifteen years as a firefighter for the Weston (CT) Volunteer Fire Department. Deborah E. Riegel was named an equity member of Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. She joined the firm in 1994 and became a member in the firm’s litigation department in 2000. (8/4/2017)

Pasqualino “Pat” Russo was promoted to partner at Windels Marx LLP, representing transportation clients and specializing in the areas of due diligence, compliance, and corporate investigations. Russo joined the firm in 2012 after 15 years of public service in New York. He is based in the firm’s New York office. (7/18/2016)
