Leonard DuBoff recently completed the fifth edition of his book, Art Law in a Nutshell (West Academic Publishing, 2016). The previous edition was translated into Mandarin and is being used in law schools throughout China. (3/3/2017)
P. Bruce Wright, partner of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, was among the inaugural inductees to the Captive Review Hall of Fame, in recognition of his significant contributions to the captive insurance industry. He has consistently been recognized among the top 10 in Captive Review’s “Power 50” list and was the recipient of the 2016 Captive Insurance Companies Association Distinguished Service Award. As leader of Sutherland’s captive insurance team, Mr. Wright counsels property and casualty insurance companies on tax and insurance law issues. (3/3/2017)
Mark L. Zientz has challenged the constitutionality of the Florida Workers’ Compensation law as a violation of substantive due process (14th Amendment) in Stahl v. Hialeah Hospital, case number 16-98. Based in Miami, he is an Emeritus member of the Executive Council of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Florida Bar, a former Vice-Chair of the Worker’s Compensation Rules Committee of the Florida Bar, an Arbitrator for the National Football League Players Association/Management Council, and a member of the faculty of the Workers’ Compensation Trial Advocacy Seminar.
