Our panel of practitioners and career development professionals will provide you with tips on how to market yourself in the new economy. Topics will include advanced networking techniques and resume and cover letter writing for experienced attorneys.

Thinking of Going Solo? Considerations for Starting a Solo or Small Firm Partnership

As legal costs continue to rise, more and more clients of every size and type are turning to smaller firms to meet their legal needs. If you are considering starting your own practice, or joining with a few colleagues to start a small firm, come hear our panel of practitioners and small firm advisors discuss considerations for starting a practice. Topics will include how to choose a business entity, whether to go solo or join with a partner, the nuts and bolts of setting up a practice, and how to develop a client base and business plan.
