Baglanzis, an associate in the Philadelphia, PA office of Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell & Hippel LLP in the firm’s Creditor’s Rights, Bankruptcy Financial Reorganization Department, was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project (CBAP). Jennifer A. Broomfield joined Florida State University (FSU) as its Title IX Director. Broomfield is FSU’s first full-time employee to concentrate solely on coordinating and directing the university’s Title IX efforts. Her responsibilities include developing, implementing and monitoring appropriate policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance with federal and state law. She was previously with the Department of Veterans Affairs serving as manager of the National Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence Assistant Program. (4/30/2015)
Samantha M. Hanley was promoted to Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Cambrex Corporation, a life sciences company that provides products, services, and technologies to accelerate the development and commercialization of small molecular therapies. Hanley previously served as Assistant General Counsel and Secretary of the company. In her new role, she leads the company’s legal function, overseeing commercial transactions, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, environmental, litigation, employment, corporate governance, SEC Compliance, and other legal matters. Prior to joining the company, Hanley served as Director of Intellectual Property at Alpharma Pharmaceuticals. (2/6/2015)

Justine (Tina) Luongo was appointed as the Attorney-in-Charge of The Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Practice. In this role, Luongo oversees 1,100 staff members representing more than 230,000 indigent New Yorkers a year. She joined Legal Aid in 2002 as a staff attorney in the New York County trial office of the Criminal Defense Practice and, in 2007, she was promoted to Supervising Attorney in the same office. In 2011, Luongo was appointed as the Deputy Attorney-in-Charge of the Criminal Practice and in July 2014, she assumed the role of Acting Attorney-in-Charge of the Criminal Practice. (11/7/2014)
