Anjanette Cabrera, a shareholder in the New York City office of the employment and labor law firm Littler Mendelson P.C., was recently elected to the Executive Committee of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) as its National Vice President of Membership for the 2014-15 term. Cabrera represents Fortune 500 and other clients in various industries against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and denial of employee benefits. (9/9/2014)
Lisa A. Chiarini, previously with Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, joined the New York office of Fish & Richardson as a partner in its Intellectual Property Litigation Group. She focuses her practice on intellectual property disputes including patent litigation, 337 actions at the International Trade Commission, and International Chamber of Commerce arbitrations. Caryn D. Finley (Mark) was promoted to Assistant Chief of the Southern Criminal Enforcement Section at the Department of Justice, Tax Division. Finley joined the US Department of Justice Tax Division in September 2000 as a member of the Honors Program and served as a Trial Attorney until January 2014. She prosecutes and supervises cases involving complex tax fraud and other economic crimes, including mail and wire fraud. Finley also serves as an adjunct professor at Georgetown Law where she teaches Tax Law and Tax Fraud. (3/6/2015)
Alexander Kaplan became a partner of Proskauer Rose LLP in the firm’s Litigation Department. He devotes the majority of his practice to intellectual property litigation and counseling. Kaplan is also a member of the adjunct faculty at Brooklyn Law School. (1/14/2015)
Meredith R. Miller, founder of legal advisory and consultancy firm, Miller Law, PLLC, was elected President of LeGal, the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York, for a two-year term which began in January 2015. Miller also serves as an Associate Professor of Law and Director of Solo & Small Practice Initiatives at Touro Law Center, where she teaches a variety of business law related classes. (7/15/2015)
Jason M. Schoenberg and Keith J. Gralitzer `02 co-founded and are serving as managing partners of recruitment firm Momentum Search Group, with offices in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Both have worked in the legal recruiting field for over 10 years. Schoenberg’s areas of expertise include managing associate searches for boutique, mid-size, and AmLaw200 law firms, as well as partner and in-house recruitment. Gralitzer’s areas of expertise include recruiting for financial service companies and major national and international law firms. Lori E.
