Carol J. Goldstein was appointed by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio as a New York City Family Court Judge, assigned to the New York County Family Court. Prior to her appointment, Goldstein was a Family Court Attorney Referee for over 17 years. She also served with The Legal Aid Society, primarily in the Juvenile Rights Division, for nearly 20 years. Richard Grayson, who maintains his practice in White Plains, was named a 2016 “New York Area Best Lawyer” in the area of ethics and professional responsibility law. He represents judges and lawyers facing sanctions for ethics violations or charges of misconduct. (3/4/2016)

Vincent F. Pitta, founding and managing partner of Pitta & Giblin LLP, was presented with a Robert M. Morgenthau Award by The Police Athletic League at its 17th Annual Legal Profession Luncheon in March 2015. The award recognizes “outstanding leaders in the legal field.” Pitta concentrates his practice in traditional labor and management relations in both the private and public sectors. (7/15/2015)

Benjamin Weinstock, a partner at the Uniondale, NY firm of Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., was elected Mayor of the Village of Cedarhurst in March 2015 for a four-year term. Weinstock is co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department, where he handles numerous types of real estate transactions, including sales and purchases, commercial leasing, sale-leasebacks, “net zero leasing,” fee and leasehold mortgages, and construction lending. He is the immediate past chair of the Real Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and a member of the adjunct faculty at Brooklyn Law School, where he teaches a course in advanced real estate transactions.
