Sidney D. Bluming, senior counsel at Meister Seelig & Fein LLP, retired from the practice of law effective 12/31/15. Bluming has worked for over 40 years in the areas of in corporate, commercial and intellectual property law, representing private companies, including manufacturers, designers, retailers, distributors, software developers and consultants, as well as senior executives, celebrities, fashion models and athletes in engagement, employment, termination, sponsorship, endorsement and other major transactions. He continues to sit as an arbitrator and provides advice and counseling in the areas of arbitration and intellectual property. (10/6/2015)
Alan E. Weiner, partner emeritus at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, was appointed to a sixth term as a judge of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants' Excellence in Financial Journalism Awards Committee.
