Complex Civil Litigation

This course examines the theory and practice of complex multiparty cases. We will address different methods of aggregation including class actions and multidistrict litigation. We will cover several important topics in complex litigation including class certification and multidistrict consolidation, notice, choice of law, preclusion, bellwether trials, and settlement. Grading and Method of Evaluation. Letter grade with Pass/Fail option. Final Exam
