02.12.19 CANCELED / CUBE Panel Discussion: Legal Tech: Innovation of Practice & Policy
Center for Urban Business Entrepreneurship CUBE

    Tuesday, February 12
    6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

    Brooklyn Law School
    Subotnick Center
    250 Joralemon St.

    About the Discussion
As Legal Technology continues to disrupt traditional areas of practice, the legal field grapples with how to keep pace. This presents students and recent graduates with an opportunity to emerge as subject matter experts in this evolving technological landscape and offers seasoned practitioners a pathway to pivot and scale their practices while utilizing new technologies.

Our panel of lawyers, software engineers, entrepreneurs, and technologists will explore technology issues lawyers encounter, new disruptions to the legal industry, special challenges legal tech entrepreneurs face, ethical problems confronting software developers and technologists, and how we can all work together to address inefficiencies in legal practice and procedure and lower barriers to justice.

Join CUBE and the Flatiron School for a panel on Innovation of Practice and Policy in the world of Legal Technology.

Moderated by Christina Mulligan, Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs & Professor of Law, Brooklyn Law School and Steven G. Harms, Manager of Full Stack Web Curriculum, the Flatiron School.
