The Journal considers unsolicited manuscripts for publication. Manuscripts must be typed, double-spaced, and submitted in duplicate. All manuscripts become the property of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law. Footnotes, rather than end notes, are the required format. Manuscripts should be mailed to:
Editor in Chief
Brooklyn Journal of International Law
Brooklyn Law School
250 Joralemon Street
Brooklyn, New York 11201
Electronic submissions in Microsoft Word format are accepted at intl-lj@brooklaw.edu. Inquiries may be sent to the same address.
The Journal does not publish articles by authors who are presently enrolled in law school, except for those who are studying for an advanced degree in law or writing a paper in conjunction with a Professor of Law.
An author should submit a current resume or curriculum vitae with the manuscript. Upon acceptance of an offer to publish, authors should submit a 3 1/2" computer disk containing the manuscript, in Microsoft Word format, along with a separate, brief abstract of the article. The Journal encourages the use of gender-neutral language.
