The Brooklyn Journal of International Law celebrated its Thirtieth Anniversary in 2004. During those years, the Journal established a commitment to publishing substantive, scholarly articles. This commitment has made it one of the top ranked international journals in the nation.
The Journal publishes leading articles on both public and private international law by authors from academia, government service, and private practice. Recent symposia issues of the Journal have commemorated the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and explored the international aspects of arbitration, securities regulation, world trade, bank regulation, bankruptcy, and interpreting law in a multilingual environment. The Journal is published three times a year.
