The tax law association was formed in order to provide networking opportunities for those interested in tax law, to encourage interest in the field of tax by hosting talks by specialized experts in the field, and to give Brooklyn Law students a chance to participate in the Volunteer Income Tax Assitance program sponsered by the IRS.
